There’s not a lot we love more than wine, so when we spied this gorgeous wedding of Annabelle and Marc’s at TAS wedding venue, Bangor Vineyard Shed, we were hooked. Firstly at her dress, secondly at the views, and thirdly at the obvious love these two have for each other. Oh, and not to mention the epic styling by Artaud and Co.

Check out more of their day, captured by Fiona Vail Photography below.

In a nutshell, how would you describe your wedding day?

Our wedding day was perfection! It was the most stunning setting at the vineyard, and everything aspect of the day was more then we could have ever asked for.

What did you expect was going to be your favourite part in the lead-up? What did it end up being?

We knew the after dinner celebrations (dancing and drinking) with our nearest and dearest would be one of our favourite parts. However, for both Marc and I, our most cherished moment was when our photographer Fee pulled us aside for the most spectacular sunset photos. It was so special to have those personal moments by ourselves to take in the whole wedding day.

Did you write your own vows? If so, what made you decide to do that?

Yes we wrote our own vowels. For us, that moment in the ceremony to express our personal thoughts and emotions to each other meant a lot to us.

What was it about your wedding venue that made you choose it?

Bangor Vineyard Shed has a special connection to me (Annabelle) as it’s part of my dad’s family history. The Bangor farm is where my father grew up, with my late grandparents. We would holiday there as children, and I have so many wonderful memories with my grandparents on the property. It’s now run by my cousin Matt and his family. So it was the easiest decision we made through the whole wedding process. We knew Bangor was the perfect choice.

Now that you’re married, what’s your best piece of wedding planning advice you can share?

Definitely allow the experts (vendors) do their thing! Because we were planning the wedding from interstate, we got an amazing stylist which worked with the venue and our florist to create a perfect atmosphere. Everything was so easy and seamless because they had everything under control right from the start.

If you had your time again, is there anything you’d do differently?

Nothing! Honestly, wouldn’t change a thing.

Finish these sentences: My partner is…

The most wonderful, kind and supportive man I could’ve asked for.

The best thing we did at our wedding was…

Have photos together away from everyone else so we could soak up the emotion of the day, just the two of us. And a close second was deciding to serve our favourite whiskies after dinner, this was a hit!

We splurged on…

The styling and florals and it was totally worth it! Also, our ‘Wedding Zine’ by Bow and Arbour to display all of our gorgeous photos was the best decision.

We saved on…

Videographer. To us, amazing photos was a much bigger priority.
