When SOCO Events has full creative control, you know the results are going to be good. When it comes to wedding styling and trends, they are always pushing the envelope and this styled shoot at Linnaeus Farm and Moraea Farm (both part of the Linnaeus Collection) was a perfect case in point.
With a brief that championed creativity and pushed beyond traditional wedding inspiration, the team brought together three distinct looks - each grounded in artistry and aesthetic intention and offering unique inspiration for couples planning their special day.
Captured by the ever-talented Scott Surplice Photography and with florals by Shady Fig and stationery by White Cherry Invitations, it's a masterclass in styling, texture and forward-thinking design (take notes).
Known for its luxurious accommodation options and serene landscapes, Linnaeus Farm and Moraea Farm provided the ideal setting for this styled shoot. Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Berry on the NSW south coast, lush gardens and architecturally refined spaces allowed each scene to shine. Layered florals, curated tabletop details and thoughtfully designed stationery transformed the setting into something elevated, editorial and full of fresh ideas for weddings and events in NSW.
Vintage always has its place in event styling, but SOCO’s 2025 version brings something bolder. Inspired by the decadence of a Victorian feast and designed with modern precision, this tablescape balances old-world abundance with fresh, intentional touches. Ruffled linen napkins, velvet furniture, glass taper candles, garden-inspired florals and luxe draping add depth and drama. It’s wedding inspiration with a twist.
Grounded in a warm brown palette, this scene feels like chocolate and espresso in visual form. Designed for long, intimate gatherings (say an elopement, milestone dinner or corporate event) this setup is all about comfort and richness. Dark florals, layered textures and sculptural, earthy elements create a luxurious tablescape that leans into the idea of grounded indulgence. Think: tactile tableware, texture. mood lighting, crisp linens and warm, natural hues throughout.
Wisteria purple and chartreuse are tipped to dominate the design space in 2026 and 2027 and this playful, futuristic look offers a preview of how they’ll come to life. Accented with chrome and reflective surfaces, the styling is unapologetically modern. Glossy, curved furniture, sculptural florals and table lamps (instead of candles) take the concept from Pinterest-worthy to polished. It’s a brilliant reference for couples or stylists looking for sparkly, colour-forward wedding ideas that feel current without being too trend-driven.
This styled shoot isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s a useful guide to styling that balances inspiration and practicality. Whether you're planning a small wedding, engagement party or private celebration in NSW or beyond, this shoot offers something tangible: a reason to embrace colour, texture and individuality in your event.
