Inspired by all things old and new, this styled shoot is unlike anything we’ve seen. Predominately set inside a refurbished barrel room, stylist Kate of Good Day Rentals told us, “The creative team (Shannyn Higgins Photography, Good Day Club, Good Grace and Humour) wanted to create a barrel room wedding outside the traditional twinkly lit feel”. Success, gang.
A six metre-high floral installation made from peppercorn, red berries and jasmine foraged from the property was the main attraction and served as inspo for the rest of the striking and colourful set-up. “In a nod to the foliage waterfall, we hero-ed its draping form throughout the tablescape, dessert lounge and photobooth backdrop, mirroring the pale blue of the water from the waterfall and the berry red from the foliage throughout the shoot”, says Kate.
It wasn’t just the foliage in this shoot however that caught our eye. There was also a balloon cloud (LOVE), a balloon waterfall, fairy floss, luxe vintage furniture, a celebrant, a guy on guitar, sumptuous cakes and delicious food from Fat and Skinny Catering: everything to guarantee a sparkly, fun and memorable celebration. Just insert yourselves and you’re done.
