About This Venue
Built between the First and Second World Wars, the Canobolas Dance Hall is available for hire for weddings, private or community events, or just a place to get some friends together. Retaining the period trimmings from its era, the Dance Hall’s double doors open up to an undercover outdoor area situated next to the dam and floating jetty. The venue also boasts a freshly renovated kitchen space ready for the caterers, a commercial wood fire pizza oven, a large rustic bar and elevated stage to accommodate your caterers, bar staff and favourite band or DJ.

Canobolas Dance Hall sits on the Hall family orchard, who have been growing world-class produce in the rich volcanic soils at the foot of Mt Canobolas for over 40 years. Their company Caernarvon Cherry Co in Orange NSW were the leaders in creating an overarching brand for other premium producers in the area to join. Together they market some of Australia’s best apples and cherries which can now be found in supermarkets all over the world. Our fruit is a BiteRiot!
