Nu-Lumeah is a truly magical venue, halfway between Sydney and Melbourne which features a beautiful wedding marquee on a lush green lawn, a shipping container that’s been converted into a bar (ultra-cool), a food school, and a private dining venue, and a large and fully covered timber deck for afternoon drinks and canapés.

They are not short on wow factor, with views overlooking the hills of the Riverina, and a modern contemporary feel with five-star service from the moment your guests arrive. Plus, the beauty of having an onsite food school and award-winning caterers is you know the food will be absolutely top-notch. Alternatively, you can select from a list of preferred caterers.

Venue hire includes the use of the Cargo Bar (the awesome container you see below with pendant lights and timber benches), bar set up and clean up, as well as all glassware and service by their in-house team. Oh, and you can BYO beverages. How good is that?

Nu-Lumeah Country NSW Wedding Venue

Hey Nu-Lumeah, tell us about the facilities your venue offers.

Our beautiful wedding venue features an infinity lawn for ceremonies and mingling, where guests can spill out from the marquee and dance the night away on our manicured lawn under festoon lights. Simply magical! A favourite spot for all our guests is the container bar, our very cool shipping container converted to a bar with drop downlights and a timber bench – absolutely the best view in town for a drink with the best service – guaranteed.

Most commonly asked questions? (Oh, and what are the answers?)

After the initial inspection, we usually get the following:
What dates do you have available?
How much will it cost me?
What does it include?
Our quoting is transparent and easy to read and you won’t be hit with a bunch of extra costs in the lead up to your wedding.

What’s your favourite thing that you’ve seen a couple do at your venue?

The most fun moment would be Mr Whippy arriving to serve dessert. The van arrived up our steep driveway playing Greensleeves – the guests loved it. We have a couple booked to arrive by a helicopter that will be special, but there are so so many special moments with our weddings.

What advice would you give to couples currently planning their wedding?

Have a clear idea of what you want. No idea is too crazy, ask the venue and see what can be done. Take the stress out of your wedding by organising your run sheet early and communicate with your events manager so they can run the day for you and you can just take it all in. Our events manager sits down with our bride and groom well in advance of their special day and does a draft run sheet. This saves lots of waking in the middle of the night and moments thinking you have forgotten something.

Can you tell us a bit about what makes your offering unique?

If you want the WOW FACTOR we have bucket loads of it. This includes our sensational destination itself up high overlooking the hills of the Riverina, our modern contemporary rural venue and our team that offer five-star service from the moment you arrive to inspect our venue.

What are some of the perks of getting married at your venue that couples might not realise?

There’s no need to go anywhere else on your wedding day. We have an amazing location for your ceremony, including beautifully landscaped grounds, a fabulous venue for your reception and our rural property which is a photographers dream for your wedding photos. We also have an award-winning team of chefs that can cater for your wedding – if good food is a priority for you. Plus, we’re based halfway between Melbourne and Sydney which makes it a perfect destination wedding location plus there are lots of nearby places to experience and visit whilst in the Riverina.

How did you get involved with weddings? What was the motivation?

It was a no brainer with our sensational location. We were already in the events industry and kept getting asked by couples to host weddings.
