Venture just beyond the city walls and we guarantee you will discover an abundance of enchanting, rustic wedding spaces that encourage couples to come, stay a while and create a day that celebrates what they’re truly all about. It doesn’t get much better.

Old Broadwater Farm

Stress-free weddings aren’t a myth. In fact, it’s what Old Broadwater Farm is renowned for. The Woods Farm

The ultimate adult playground, The Woods Farm is situated on the beautiful south coast (just minutes from Hyams Beach) and has everything you could possibly need for a fun-filled wedstival. Think luxury cottages, an outdoor pool and pizza oven, a petting zoo and veggie garden, a purpose-built barn, bikes, yoga classes and glamping facilities for up to 50 people. Byron View Farm

If there’s a wedding venue that perfectly captures Byron’s laid-back luxury, it’s Byron View Farm. Perched high in the hinterland, this working macadamia farm is famous for its panoramic outlook. It's the kind of view that will stop guests in their tracks. The minimalist all-white cottage and surrounding grounds create a dreamy canvas for any style of celebration while the sunsets here are something else entirely – golden, cinematic and unforgettable.

The Stables of Somersby

Located on a private equestrian property, The Stables of Somersby if full of farm-worthy eye candy. The stables are the main draw card, and allow couples to design their day however they like. It comes with recycled timber trestle tables, bamboo wedding chairs, a vintage bar area, toilets, a catering kitchen and stunning chandeliers and fairy lights. There’s also the option to get hitched outside or in one of their luxury tent marquees.

Waldara

Forget what you once thought about farm wedding venues and picture this: two luxury homesteads set amid 800 hectares of pristine Australian bush and farmland, a modern barn with high timber ceilings and beautiful gardens positioned next to an expansive dam. Add to that a tennis court, an outdoor fire pit and a well-kept shearing shed that doubles as an indoor ceremony space and you have Waldara. Growwild Wildflower Farm

Just an hour south of Sydney, Growwild Wildflower Farm is a secret(ish) spot that's too special not to share. This family-run property is brimming with natural beauty - think winding garden paths, flowering meadows and rustic timber structures framed by towering gums. Couples can exchange vows in the garden before continuing the celebrations in the grand marquee or barn (which also doubles as a wet weather ceremony option).

Sandridge Estate

Like most of Tasmania, Sandridge Estate is a pretty spectacular space. Sitting in the middle of a 500 acre bush reserve and just two minutes to the beach, you’ll find an old machinery shed that’s been lovingly restored into a unique TAS wedding venue. There’s a Glamping village onsite and the entire property is yours for three days. Check out this real wedding to get more of a feel for the scale of that shed.

Quirindi Stables

Pronounced kar-in-dye, this rustic wedding venue is a fifth-generation, family-owned farm that’s home to some of the area’s best trail rides (there are over 40 horses on the property). The Stables, Barn and Long Shed are the original sheds and the beautifully maintained garden is ideal for outdoor ceremonies.

Collits Inn

Built in 1823, this unique Blue Mountains wedding venue still maintains its historic charm. The barn is over 190 years old and the other out-buildings are some of the oldest in the area. The Inn itself sleeps 12 and includes breakfast, plus you’ll get to meet the farm animals including Gordon the ram and Socksy and Billy the goats.
