About This Vendor
Hello, I’m Milton. I’m a photographer, a husband and a Londoner who now calls Australia home. I’m also addicted to golf, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and sour cherry danishes, but that’s a conversation for another time.
I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of weddings around Australia and other parts of this beautiful planet and I still love nothing more than spending a day surrounded by happy people having heaps of fun, and documenting every deliciously joyful, tearily romantic, and freakingly hilarious moment that unfolds.
My photojournalistic style means I’m discreet (often blending in amongst your guests) and documenting the day as it naturally unfolds, from the excitement and nerves while getting ready through to the wonderfully entertaining shapes you and your guests will inevitably be cutting on the DF!
The benefit of my hands-off approach is that you can simply forget about me (don’t worry, I won’t be offended) and get stuck into enjoying the day without any fear of being asked to get into super awkward poses. But if you need a hand folding a pocket square or pinning a buttonhole I’ve got your back.
I also love that every wedding is unique, so whether you’re also keeping with convention or breaking the rules and ditching the cake, it’s all good with me (although a New York style cheesecake will guarantee you legend status, trust me on this).
I often pinch myself when I realise that I’m part of the vibrant Australian wedding industry and get to spend my weekends at fantastic venues surrounded by amazing humans having fun times.
This year is going to be particularly exciting. Amy and I recently relocated to Canberra (so she can open her awesome Mrs Fray bridal concept store!) and I’m super excited at the prospect of shooting weddings in the nation’s capital as well as spending more time in the gorgeous, natural surrounds of the Southern Highlands and South Coast. But I’m always keen to explore further afield, so wherever you’re having your big day, please get in touch and tell me about your part of the world.
Pricing: photographic coverage starts from $3,500. Album collections start from $5,300.
- Favourite place in the world? Without a doubt, Paris, especially as that's where we got engaged!
- Best wedding-related tip? The day will fly by really quickly so try to spend as much time with your guests as possible. A first look (where the photo session takes place before the ceremony) is a great way to maximise time with your guests.
- Three words that describe you? Creative, curious and driven.
- Fav thing about your job? Going to 30 weddings a year / sampling 30 wedding cakes a year :)
