Something we saw (and loved) in 2020? The rise of monochromatic bridal parties. That is, bridesmaids all wearing a different tone or shade of a single colourway. Take your cues from the ladies in red(s) below.
Prints and texture
Because sometimes more is more. A feast for the eyes, it’s no surprise that parties in prints were crowd-favourites time and time again.
Florals forever
A staple in bridal parties for the last couple of years, nothing says ultra-feminine like a good floral combo.
Slinky silk and satin
Arguably the biggest trend in bridal parties for the last couple of years, 2020 delivered us our fair share of knockout bridesmaids in these luxurious, lustrous fabrics.
Neutrals and blush
The ‘it’ colours of 2020 bridesmaids. Champagne, dusky rose, soft gold, blush – these pretty shades are classic, timeless and never a bad choice.
Pantsuits and jumpsuits
More brides are adopting two-legged ensembles and bridal parties have followed *ahem* suit too. There’s good reason: they’re comfortable, they’re chic and you can squat your heart out on the dancefloor without fear of a flash.
