There’s a lot to love about Mayfield Vineyard – a country NSW wedding venue located just outside Orange. The wine is dangerously easy to drink (and there’s plenty of it), the scenery is stunning and for anyone wanting to host a wedding over an entire weekend, there is on-site accommodation for 28 guests across six well-appointed dwellings.

Our team recently took a trip to discover firsthand if Mayfield was as awe-inspiring as we’d imagined it to be (FYI, it  absolutely was) and to work alongside awesome photographer Kyle Ingram and stylists Bespoke Country Weddings in putting together an intimate styled shoot.

The idea behind the shoot was simple: to gives couples a snack-sized taste of what a wedding at this country NSW wedding venue might look like (they’ve recently relaunched under new ownership after taking a long hiatus from weddings, and we know we’re not the only ones stoked about it).

Given there are multiple ceremony and event spaces to choose from (including The School House, The Vineyard and The Garden), the options here are never-ending but being summer, Bespoke Country Hire decided to put together a vibrant, outdoor set-up with seasonal hydrangeas, crystal glassware and bursts of brightly-coloured citrus. Textured linens, matte black cutlery and sea mist coloured stationery added the perfect finishing touches.

It was simple and elegant and all that was needed, given how much character already exists on this private estate, the history of which dates back to 1813 when Mayfield was gifted to explorer William Charles Wentworth.
