Few VIC wedding venues compare to Coombs Hill Barn. Most likely because importing and restoring a genuine 160-year-old American barn from Indiana is no easy project.
The move took place in 2017 and after much work, Coombs Hill Barn now lives happily on a private, 100-acre property in the shadow of Mt Buller, overlooking the pristine Delatite Valley.
It’s recently opened its enormous barn doors to couples searching for a truly unique, DIY wedding venue and to celebrate, a passionate group of VIC wedding vendors banded together to create this styled shoot.
Captured by Lovegood Images and Directors Edge (scroll down for the full video) and styled by Mellyrain Events, the intention behind the shoot was simple: to give couples a glimpse into the kind of wedding that can be created here.
Running with a moody and romantic theme, vendors including Wild Flower and Twig, Bentley & Bobbie, Light Hearted Designs, Kristy Nedelkovski, Cakes &, Jayde Maree Makeup and Lisa Amanda Hair Styling (among others) all played a key role in bringing these stunning images to life. And while they provide some killer wedding inspiration, it’s worth noting that the beauty of this luxurious five bedroom, BYO wedding venue is that anything is do-able (especially if you partner with some talented pros to lighten the load).
