Rosedale Farm

Set across 120 acres of countryside in Orange, NSW, Rosedale Farm is a historic estate dating back to 1877.

Following a six-year renovation, the property has been reimagined as a private country residence with considered gardens, event spaces and accommodation. Surrounded by rolling hills and lined with poplar trees, the estate offers a secluded setting just eight minutes from the centre of town.

Gardens and grounds

The grounds at Rosedale Farm have been published widely and have an editorial beauty that is even more breathtaking in real life.

Designed as a series of distinct yet connected spaces, manicured gardens sit alongside mature trees, lush lawns and the wider rural landscape. It's a perfect balance of both the structured and natural environments.

The estate includes Italian-style gardens, a lake-facing lawn and a pool and pool house, offering multiple areas for guests to explore and gather across the property. An abundant market and flower garden is a delight for a stroll and for photos, and free-roaming peacocks, geese and other birdlife can be found creating scenes akin to a painting.

Reception options

Rosedale Farm offers a variety of locations for wedding celebrations across the estate.

The show-stopping Orangery is a covered space, set within the gardens beside the pool and provides an indoor space for up to 70 guests.

For larger celebrations, the grounds allow for marquee structures, including the front lawn overlooking the lake (up to 80) and the North Garden, which can accommodate up to 180 guests.

And for more intimate celebrations, a long table can be set in 'The Bakery' - the alfresco site of the property's original kitchen.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available on-site across the main residence and two guesthouses. Each space has been individually designed with a contemporary European aesthetic layered with an Italian farmhouse sensibility.

Two self-contained guesthouses are included with venue hire. Guesthouse One sleeps 2 guests, and Guesthouse Two sleeps 4 guests. The main residence features six bedrooms, accommodating up to 12 guests, and can be hired for an additional fee.

The region

Orange is located in Central West NSW - a region known for its food, wine and distinct seasons. Approximately 3.5 hours from Sydney, it offers a balance of countryside landscapes and a renowned foodie dining scene.

The region is home to an abundance of incredible wineries, cellar doors and producers, with a strong focus on local and seasonal ingredients. Restaurants, cafes and providores are centred around the town, making it the perfect destination for guests to explore over a wedding weekend.

Rosedale Farm is owned by lifelong Orange locals who share a genuine connection to the region and its community. In partnership with Wedshed-Managed and Oxford Blue, the team brings together local knowledge with thoughtful, experienced guidance in weddings and events.

Couples are supported from the very beginning through to the final moments of their celebration, with a hands-on, end-to-end approach. The focus is on creating a considered and seamless experience, so you can feel confident, relaxed and fully present throughout your time at Rosedale Farm.
