Hi, I’m Rowan, the creator of Retro Roma Photobooth — and yes, I built the photobooth myself! What started as a DIY project for my own wedding years ago soon became something friends kept asking for at their own celebrations. But instead of letting it sit unused, I had a bigger vision: to create a unique photobooth experience that was both beautifully designed and easy to set up.

I wanted something that allowed full control over lighting and captured the joy of every moment — and after a few Google searches, the idea of converting a vintage caravan just clicked. After finding the perfect old van, I spent late nights stripping it back to a bare shell and rebuilt it from the ground up to match the vision in my head.

Every corner of Retro Roma has been shaped by hand, passion, and purpose — and it’s been an incredible journey bringing this little dream to life. I’m so proud to now share it with others, helping bring laughter, charm, and unforgettable memories to people’s most special occasions.
