The Zin House is a modern farmhouse restaurant taking in sweeping views of the certified organic and biodynamic 1,000 acre Tinja property, nestled among classic Mudgee hillscapes and Lowe vineyards.
Awarded a Chef’s Hat in the SMH Good Food Guide Awards, Zin’s focus on culinary excellence is clear but it’s food that’s unstuffy – elegant, seasonal, delicious. Grown, prepared and served with love, designed to be shared with those you adore. The extensive kitchen gardens, orchards and grazing farmland welcome you on arrival and form the basis of your wedding experience at Zin House. What we don’t grow ourselves we source from our neighbours and producers across the region. Our ethos is generosity and authenticity and we live and breathe it.
When you get wed at The Zin House, you’ve got the flexibility to set up your event in a way that speaks to you both. Savour sparkling on the lawns, set up live music in the restaurant or treat your guests to an open-air long table dining experience overlooking the native saltbush. And then warm yourselves around the open fire of our enormous outdoor hearth. We promise that however your event looks at The Zin House, it will be truly special.

We’re a bunch of warm, welcoming people that absolutely love our work. We’re quite partial to a glass or several of wine (unsurprisingly) and we take enormous pride and honour in helping play a part in one of the biggest milestones in a person’s life. G’day, from us – we hope to meet you in person.
Director and Executive Chef Kim Currie has been cooking professionally for over 35 years and comes from a family of chefs. Having championed NSW regional dining and food for more than three decades, local produce and producers have always been a central focus. This focus is embodied in her renowned regional food garden and restaurant Zin House, where Kim produces food that tastes of where we live, prepared from scratch using classic techniques.
From years of experience, making wine across the world on some outstanding old vineyards, our Chief Winemaker and Director David Lowe’s belief is the best wine comes from unirrigated, un-trellised, organic and biodynamic vineyards – so this is what we do (and there haven’t been many complaints!).
Weddings at the Lowe Family Estate are managed exclusively by the team at Wedshed – we’d love to hear your plans (or help you formulate them).
