The Bethnal is a contemporary wedding and events venue that’s been carefully designed to house the beginnings of every kind of story. Within its walls you’ll find a unique blend of high craftsmanship and design, as it serves as both a working barrel room and breathtaking function space in Newstead, Brisbane. Created by the team behind Range Brewing and Patio Rosalie
The venue features a floor-to-ceiling barrel wall, private custom-built bar, dark timbers and curved motifs all curated against a dark warehouse setting. From the moment you step into the space you’ll feel the relaxed atmosphere, where the priority is placed on comfort and providing unforgettable hospitality.
As part of the experience guests will have seamless access to six taps of incredibly fresh beer courtesy of the award-winning brewery located right next door, two exclusive house wines made in partnership with LATTA Vino, and our detailed menu of canapés, mains and desserts.

Many years ago the Range Brewing journey first started in a humble pub in Bethnal Green, UK. Range co-founders, Matt McIver and Gerard Martin planned from start to finish exactly how they wanted the brewery to unfold and the changes they wanted to make in the Australian beer industry.
Since then, the team behind these amazing venues have been committed to exploring what it means to deliver exceptional hospitality and create an atmosphere you can’t quite forget. “For the last 5+ years the the team have really incorporated Range Brewing’s motto- “Forever Exploring, Forever Evolving” into everyday life.
Once you step into The Bethnal, you’ll be greeted with the traditional oak barrels, polished concrete floors, an exposed ceiling and beautifully curved motifs that truly make this venue speak for itself. The dark industrial setting is perfectly balanced with a natural warmth, creating a dramatic, yet versatile ambiance for a wedding or one-of-a-kind event.
