Owner / Manager

The mining museum is a unique, award winning cultural heritage facility, entirely operated by an enthusiastic team of volunteers. The museum is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by spectacular cliffs, pagodas and ridges.

We have hosted numerous weddings and community events on the site and have always found our spaces to have a special vibe. The Bath House in particular has the reputation of being a fun and social place. The Bath House started life in 1923 as a power station and later became the change room and showers for up to 500 miners.

It has wonderful arched windows looking out onto bushland and a spectacular high roof. Our volunteers make every effort to support your preparations and assist with parking. The rest is up to you!
