About This Venue

Bidja Estate is located on the NSW Central Coast – just 90 minutes north of Sydney. Our countryside wedding venue is a tranquil blank canvas perfect for your DIY wedding. We are complete with our iconic and newly renovated red barn and attached open-air dancefloor, rolling paddocks all set around tranquil rainforests, and manicured gardens. We offer you flexibility and versatility to create your unique wedding by providing multiple ceremony, reception, and glamping locations and allowing you to choose your own wedding suppliers.

Use of the props shed which includes 2 arbors and assorted wedding decor.
A brand new luxury 6-seater golf cart (to help with moving the bridal party and assist with elderly family)
Luxury portable twin toilet trailer
All waste removal

Location settings and amenities

The Barn: (Newly renovated that consists of an extension, new bar, new French doors that open up to our lawn and festoon lit, open-air dancefloor)
Suitable for sit-down 130 guests and 180 for cocktail/canape reception and leading onto a paved open-air dance floor lit by vintage festoon lights. This space is the perfect setting for an under-the-stars reception.

The Work Shed:
A flexible area suitable for a catering shed or storage space, or can be used as a band setup, or dance floor for a wet weather option. (70 max guests).
This space also is adjoining the paved open area.

The Paddocks:
Our open paddocks offer a variety of locations around the property to choose where to set your unique ceremony. This space is also suitable for small or large marquee receptions and offers space for camping or glamping. speak to us about supplier options for your guests.

The Rainforest:
An idyllic setting for your ceremony featuring a cleared area with a backdrop of natural palms. This is also the photographer’s favorite space with the beautiful untouched natural setting.

Accommodation – Bridal Suite:
Our Bridal suite is detached from the main residence with your own private access. Featuring a kitchenette and separate bathroom/toilet (shower only). Enjoy a comfortable king-size bed, dining area, lounge space with TV, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning.
You will have direct access to the entertainment area complete with a jacuzzi spa, wood-fired pizza oven, and bbq. Perfect for pre and post-wedding socializing with your family or bridal party.

Accommodation – Main Residence:
A total collection of 3 x boutique bedrooms in our main residence on the wedding night. These include:
1 x king room
2 x queen rooms

All feature air conditioning and complimentary wifi. Access to kitchen facilities for tea & coffee 24/7, shared bathroom & toilet. You will have full use of laundry facilities and will be supplied with your own bar fridge. Lounge area with Foxtel also available. You will have direct access to the entertainment area complete with a jacuzzi spa, wood-fired pizza oven, and bbq. Perfect for pre and post-wedding socializing with your family or bridal party.

Onsite Parking:
Parking is available at no charge for up to 110 cars. Coach parking is also available.

Owner / Manager

Bidja is a privately owned property. Linda and Ian are retired business owners who enjoy the relaxed semi-rural lifestyle. Easy going and hospitable. Travelling, cooking & meeting interesting people is their passion.
Starting off this venture into Weddings and Events, Linda and Ian hosted their daughter’s wedding in 2013. Following overwhelming feedback from guests and suppliers of the event, they accepted individual requests via word of mouth.
