About This Vendor

Can I just say that I am SO HAPPY that you have decided to get married. It’s awesome and you have made a really wonderful, exciting decision.

I’m also completely stoked that you are here on WedShed having a look at some vendors you think you might like to work with. If you are here you are my kind of people and I’d love to chat to you further about how this whole getting married thing works.

A little bit about me: I’m super open-minded when it comes to your ideas and passionate about people having a ceremony that is theirs and theirs alone. Outside of the legal requirements we don’t have to tick any particular boxes – in the 10+ years I’ve been doing this that has been something that the majority of my couples don’t even realise. My job is to uncover what is important to you and then hone in on this in your ceremony. Sometimes this looks like celebrating your communities, or focussing on what connects you and your partner, or looking to your future – or all of the above! Regardless of the direction you want your ceremony to go, I am there to bring your stories to life in my signature calm, cool and collected manner. Fun is a given, silliness is not. Tears are also a given – if I don’t make someone cry at least once a week I am failing at life. So send me an enquiry, I’ll send you some more info and a link to a zoom date back and we’ll make this happen. I can’t wait to meet you both!

PS: I LOVE DOGS, PLEASE BRING THEM TO OUR MEETINGS/YOUR WEDDING, KTHNXBYE

  • Favourite place in the world? New Zealand (my home country)! Lake Wakatipu near Queenstown in the South Island specifically. A glacial lake surrounded by mountains - even in the height of summer the water is icy cold. It feels like magic.
  • Ultimate super power? I get stuck between breathing underwater and teleportation. Either would be great, thanks.
  • Best wedding-related tip? Do what's in your heart, don't be afraid to let go of tradition if it doesn't sit well with you and your partner. Also, love your vendors! They will make or break your day - make sure they get you.
