Wivenhoe Escapes is an exclusive private estate wedding venue set across 550 acres of elevated countryside overlooking Lake Wivenhoe, just one hour from Brisbane.

Created for couples looking for more than a traditional wedding venue, the estate brings together spectacular scenery, complete privacy and thoughtfully considered hospitality to create celebrations that feel personal, relaxed and genuinely memorable.

A limited number of weddings are hosted at Wivenhoe Escapes each year, giving couples the freedom to make the estate their own. From exchanging vows against sweeping lake and countryside views to sunset drinks, beautifully hosted dining and an evening celebration that unfolds without the feeling of being part of a busy function venue, every part of the experience is designed around the couple and their guests.

The estate offers a choice of ceremony locations, a purpose-designed reception venue opening onto the landscape, onsite accommodation, in-house catering and the space to enjoy much more than the wedding itself. Couples can settle in, prepare onsite, celebrate with the people closest to them and wake the following morning still surrounded by the beauty and privacy of the estate.
