Tempo Events & Hire is a marquee and event hire company based in Harrietville, Victoria. We provide premium sailcloth marquees, curated hire items, and hands-on support for couples hosting weddings across North East Victoria and the Alpine Valleys. Our Sailcloth Marquees are available in four sizes.
Can the sides of the sailcloth marquee be opened or closed?
Yes, the Sailcloth Marquees come with sidewalls that can either be installed or left off, depending on your preference. You can decide closer to the event date once you have a clearer idea of the weather. The best part? There’s no extra charge for adding walls, so you have full flexibility!
What about lighting inside Sailcloth Marquees?
We provide complimentary lighting inside the marquee. It's dimmable too, so you can set the mood.

Do you have packages that include furntiure and accessories?
We customise packages based on your needs. We prefer not to limit you with pre determined packages. This way we can understand your vision, how it works with the venue and suggest a package for your wedding day.

More about the vendor team

Hi, I’m Lachie, founder of Tempo Events & Hire and a long-time local of the Alpine region. After more than a decade managing large-scale events like the Australian Open and music festivals across the country, I saw how much pressure falls on couples planning weddings without the right support. With Tempo, I’ve taken everything I learned from high-stakes event production such as timelines, site logistics, power, flow and guest experience, and applied it to outdoor weddings, where those details matter just as much.

I run Tempo with my wife Sera, who has a background in travel and logistics, and my sister Brianna, our in-house designer. She’s a qualified draftsperson with an eye for layout, flow and aesthetics, and designs every marquee floorplan with intention and care.

We’re not just a hire company. We’re planners, problem-solvers and locals who care deeply about how your day feels and functions. If something’s not going to work, we’ll tell you. And if there’s a better way to do it, we’ll make it happen.
