Hi, I’m Matthew—your wedding photographer with heart.

My love for photography has always been there, but in 2010 it became more than a passion—it became a calling. For the past 15 years, and especially over the last ten years, I’ve focused solely on wedding photography. I’m drawn to adventure and location weddings, where I get to capture not only the emotion of the day but also the landscapes that frame your story.

Yes, I’m a photographer—but I prefer to define myself by character and experience. I draw inspiration from my life, both personal and professional, to create more than just photographs. What I aim to give my couples are timeless memories—moments to treasure and share for a lifetime.

I’ve circled the sun 36 times, and Bathurst has always been home. Life blessed me with my partner Jessica, our daughter Indi, our son Logan, and Dallas the dog. My kids remind me every day what truly matters—keeping me on my toes, “helping” with editing (not always very effectively!), and making me laugh in the process.

Here are a few things that make me tick:

• Coffee, tattoos, cars, and (of course) camera gear—I’m always chasing that next lens or tool to refine my craft.
• Spontaneous road trips, chasing painted skies and golden sunsets.
• Hiking, waterfalls, and mountain adventures—because nature never fails to inspire.

For me, weddings are one of life’s milestones that deserve to be documented beautifully and authentically. I know being photographed doesn’t always feel natural, which is why I pride myself on preparation and connection. I’ll take the time to get to know you, understand your style, and make sure you feel comfortable and confident in front of the lens.
