Lose yourself in the heart of the country, where you will be surrounded by 200 acres of picturesque nature filled views, a mirror effect dam, all with a rustic twist – making it a perfect destination for your romantic Wedding Day.

Yabbaloumba Retreat’s front paddock will be for your exclusive use, so you can truly make your wedding day one to remember. Our package includes the hire of four (4) luxury cottages for two nights, the hire of ‘The Shed’ for two and a half days, hire of the ‘Shed Quarters’ and camping sites for one night for as many guests as you like. Yabbaloumba Retreat’s Wedding Venue, ‘The Shed’ is located within the property and is fully outfitted internally with recycled materials, which compliments the natural beauty of the landscape.

Wagon wheel chandeliers and coach lights radiate a subdued ambience of ‘yesteryear’. ‘The Shed’ is 25m x 11m with a 6m awning overlooking the dam, which provides a substantial all weather area for your occasion..

With only a short drive from Maleny along the well-known tourist drive, you will feel encompassed by the serenity and peaceful feeling of farm life coupled with romantic luxury.

Owned and operated by hosts Barb & Lloyd Campbell, Yabbaloumba Retreat offers panoramas of farming country set against craggy mountain ranges. Quality, luxury, privacy and relaxation is the distinctive point of difference that saw Yabbaloumba Retreat appear on Queensland Weekender in 2015, while also being awarded HotelsCombined Stellar Stays award for Queensland and placed fifth in Australia.

You can find Barb & Lloyd working & living on the property preparing the grounds down at the creek for ceremonies, mowing lawns and coming up with new and creative projects for the venue. Barb & Lloyd love meeting their guests & providing great hospitality to all.

Weddings have been managed by L&L co. Events since 2015 which allows brides from outside the region and interstate to plan their wedding with ease. From guided tours, help with budget management and sourcing great suppliers, on the day coordination plus unlimited communication via phone & email – L&L co. Events ensures couples can create their day to suit their style & budget at no additional cost to couples.
