About This Venue
Wollombi Barnstay is pleased to be able to offer our property for weddings and receptions. The options are endless and only limited to your imagination to ensure the country wedding of your dreams.
We have some exciting things happening at the Barnstay in 2017 and we can’t wait to share them with you – this place just keeps on getting better and better as they say!
In early Q1 2018 we will also open our new indoor function space should open (currently going through Council).
There is no other word to describe it but simply beautiful and elegant with a hint of that rustic charm that everyone loves. With soaring ceilings, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit and outdoor covered dancefloor /chill zone, there will be nothing like it in the Hunter valley when it is completed. For those interested, I can certainly share some plans with you. Naturally until it is finished, the property contines to be marquee only on a temporary event basis.
The building ( lined with Australian Blackbutt timber) will only complement the property which is set on a beautiful 100 acres, 25 acres of which have been meticulously designed and landscaped with over 4000 trees to create a beautiful parkland.
The property also has private access to Wollombi Brook, perfect for swimming and fishing in those warmer months.
We believe the barnstay is the perfect venue for the who want to express their own creative flair and to have not only a unique wedding but also a fabulous weekend with family and friends. With accommodation on site for up to 16 people with glamping also possible, a wedding at the Barnstay becomes more than just a wedding.
