About This Venue

Searching for a charming country venue, just 40 minutes from Melbourne CBD? Warrawong Estate provides a wedding experience for you, your family and guests to remember.

We’d love to help you create a truly memorable wedding experience with our completely customised packages – tailored to suit your budget, in your own style. Because what’s a wedding if it’s not personal to you guys?

Our historic 1850s woodshed has been beautifully restored to host your special day. It’s the ultimate space for a relaxed, roaming style celebration or formal seated reception.

Flexibility is key here – hold your ceremony in our gorgeous garden and follow it up with a cocktail party, casual spit roast, gourmet BBQ or a sit-down gathering. The choice is yours. Our warm and professional staff are dedicated to helping ensure your day is exactly that: a day that is representative of you both.

Warrawong Estate holds a maximum of 120 guests for a sit-down event and can easily cater for 175 people for a cocktail style event. The venue price varies according to the time of the year, the day of the week and the event in which we would be honoured to host for you. We’ll tailor a package for you based on these, your budget and your style to make your wedding completely unique.

Owner / Manager

Angelica here. I’m delighted you’re considering Warrawong Estate for your wedding.

This is the closest you’ll get to rustic country so near to Melbourne. Built by a notable squatter, it sits on property with panoramic views of Werribee River, Exford Reservoir, and the Toolern Creek valley. In the early 20th Century, its owners included a well-known female racing motorist and the first Australian to compete in Monte Carlo – a world-ranking polo player, and the managing director of the Swallow and Ariel Biscuit Company. We feel incredibly fortunate to continue the special legacy this property holds and share it with others.
