About This Venue

Set in idyllic surroundings, the historic Wandiligong Public Hall is the perfect venue for weddings. The Hall has many period features, including its original Baltic pine ceiling, hand-made brick walls, stage and open fire place to name but a few of its features.

The Hall is surrounded by shady trees in the summer months suitable for outdoor activities, with an extensive undercover verandah should the need arise. Whilst during the winter months the Hall is equipped with electrical heating and of course the quintessential open wood fire.

Downstairs there is a registered kitchen suitable for onsite catering, whilst the Hall’s tables and chairs are made available to you for your use.

You have full flexibility in planning your wedding event, either by using the Hall for your ceremony or reception alone, or by using it for both. As a hirer of the Hall you are given the time to set up for your special day, hold the ceremony, then restore and clean up afterwards.

Friday – 12pm collect keys & set up for event,
Saturday – function
Sunday – clean and restore hall, return keys by 12pm

Owner / Manager

The Hall is managed by the Wandiligong Public Hall Committee of Management Inc. We are a dedicated community of volunteers who oversee the historic Hall’s continuing preservation and maintenance.

The Committee of Management is a not for profit organisation. We raise revenue by hiring out the Hall to the local community for gatherings and celebratory events. We also delighted to be able to hire the Hall out to visiting enthusiasts who will appreciate and respect its history.
