About This Venue
The Wild Vine is a working vineyard, boutique farm and unique event space. Located a short drive North East of Wagga Wagga, it is nestled between rolling green hills and the Murrumbidgee River. The lovingly restored, colonial style building has a quaint and charming exterior but boasts both large indoor and outdoor event spaces. The warm feel and eclectic character provides a unique setting for any wedding. This paired with our fun and friendly staff makes for a genuine and memorable experience. With roaring stone fireplace and a fantastic outdoor area The Wild Vine is perfect for year round celebrations. The venue is surrounded by 17 acres of vines and has many of great photo opportunities.
You have the option of holding a simple intimate ceremony or an epic weds-tival (wedding-festival, yes we’re making it a thing).
Spring in the garden or Autumn by the fireplaces, its up to you.
Drinks and canapes on the lawn or a hot cocoa station and grazing tables inside.
Stunning seated reception or maybe an extended cocktail hour.
We aim to make every wedding as unique as our couples.
Wedding packages include return coach transport from the Wagga CBD, all cleanup, chairs, tables, linen, various styling items such as vintage furniture, arbors, linen napkins, candle holders, vases, and lawn games.

Owner / Manager
Kate and Nick Shepherd have always loved working in the hospitality and events industry, they also have a major soft spot for old buildings and renovating them…..it was a match made in heaven when the old Wagga Winery came up for sale. With Kate’s creativity and Nicks heavy lifting ability, this project was always going to be a great adventure.
PS Nick and Kate know nothing about making wine but we are learning!!!!
Kate has worked in the hospitality industry for a number of years with the last few running her own event planning and styling business. Nick worked for many years as a wedding DJ, playing gigs all over NSW and Victoria. He worked in corporate audio visual hire and installation for a number of years before moving on to a bar management roll. To put it simply, Kate is the creative with major OCD tendencies and Nick is the fun loving party animal!
