About This Venue

High on a hill, our beautiful country church and whitewashed hall are set in two acres of garden overlooking the surrounding countryside and tiny town of Taradale. The iconic church boasts high timber ceilings, glorious gothic stained-glass windows, a carved wooden pulpit, even a choir-loft.

The Churchill team’s extensive experience means that every detail of your event is meticulously designed so that you and your guests can relax and enjoy the moment.

Our team will help you plan a progressive event using the flexible nature of the venue’s grounds and character-filled spaces to best reflect your personality. The blending of relaxed European country charm and luxe interior detailing sets the scene for a stylish soiree that’s classic yet open to your interpretation.

Churchill is the first venue by acclaimed florists and stylists Prunella. We had often thought what a Prunella events space might look like and the idea of creating a complete experience beyond just the botanical had always fascinated us.
The answer came with the opportunity to transform a beautiful old country church and accompanying Sunday school hall into a unique event space, and the first Prunella venue, Churchill, was born.

We offer a tailored approach to the venue set up, catering and drinks preferring to customise our offering to your vision. The best bit is that we can organise everything for you!

Where else can you have your wedding ceremony in a country hall followed by dinner in a church? And, of course, Churchill’s interiors provide the perfect backdrop for Prunella’s grand, romantic floral designs.
