The iconic Bridge Creek Homestead is the perfect location for couples dreaming of a quintessential country wedding.
Only 2.5 hours from Melbourne in Victoria’s high country and set amidst 7-acres of breathtaking surrounds, our picture-perfect venue allows you to create your own bespoke wedding no matter what time of year.
Offering complete privacy and exclusive use of the homestead, our purpose built venue space is ideal for injecting your own personality and DIY-touch to the big day.
Our famous barn is perfect for cocktail functions of up to 120 people, sit-down meals for approximately 75 guests or casual gourmet BBQs. Built from vintage railway sleepers and boasting beautiful high ceilings and cosy timber accents, the barn is bursting with rustic charm.
During your reception you can immerse yourself in the natural environment with an al fresco space and outdoor bar where guests can enjoy a drink and soak up the uninterrupted views.
There’s also amenities for live music (including 3 phase power) as well as a host of themed props and festoon lighting to help you style your wedding. For larger functions, a marquee can be hired and erected on the property. You’ll also be provided with an onsite event manager to ensure your day runs like clockwork!
When it comes to a memorable ceremony and intimate photo locations, you’ll be spoilt for choice – from our cottage garden, to the rolling hills, lakes, rivers and fields nearby.
Our beautiful bridal suite is also available for bridal parties who choose to prepare onsite and we’re happy to assist with recommendations for local accommodation, caterers, stylists, hairdressers and florists.
Bridge Creek Homestead is conveniently located only 5 minutes from Mansfield and a short drive to Mt Buller and Mt Stirling, plus all the culinary and outdoor offerings of the magical high country.

Owner / Manager
Bridge Creek Homestead has been in our family for over 35 years and prior to this in the early 1900’s it was the local school and tennis court. It has a rich history in the area. About 4 years ago we took the property over from Joey’s late father and have since revamped it into a beautiful wedding venue. We often had people stopping on the side of the road to peer in at the ‘Barn’ or drive right in to ask if they could have a look inside and perhaps hold their wedding here!
So we did something about it!!
As a husband and wife team, we have a wealth of hospitality knowledge and experience, extensive experience in event management, garden design and maintenance and running our own businesses.
We are very passionate about our property; maintaining it, cherishing it and sharing it with others to enjoy.
