Owner / Manager

G’Day! I’m Robert.

Australian born, I was raised in rural Victoria and have spent most of my life on this farm. I am very hardworking, driven, adventurous and an avid world traveller. I’ve hiked the Grand Canyon; climbed Cotopaxi, the highest active volcano in the world, in Equador; worked as a ranger in Tanzania, hitchhiked past the Arctic Circle with the Ice Road Truckers and seen the Northern Lights in Alaska; saw the Pyramids in Egypt; drove the famous Route 66 in California; and rode elephants in Thailand.

I’ve backpacked, hiked and hitchhiked my way across the globe and although I have travelled the world extensively and there is still so much that I want to see and do, I will always call Australia home. I have always had a passion for travelling and entrepreneurship – so I thought, what better way to combine both of my passions than to own and operate my own farm-stay at my home, here in Victoria.

Since 2006, I have worked in the industry and hosted on my farm. I enjoy meeting unique and interesting people from around the world and the great atmosphere that is created by people properly enjoying themselves. Having spent most of my life on the farm, I appreciate the beauty and simplicity of country living and I want to share my knowledge and lifestyle with you!
