Things to make you go ‘I do’.

VENUE FEATURE: Nu-Lumeah at Food I Am

On one of our pilgrimages to find a unique NSW country wedding venue, we discovered Nu-Lumeah – an epic 100 acre property that knows how to wedding. They provide bus transfers, a commercial kitchen, multiple ceremony and reception locations and a guaranteed good time.

Tell us a bit about your venue…

The setting is simply magical! Located on the highest elevated building site in Wagga Wagga. Amongst 100 acres of rolling hills with expansive views, sits this unique wedding venue. At sunset, Nu-Lumeah turns into a flickering wonderland as the region below lights up.

What inspired you to get involved with weddings?

Our beautiful venue has stunning views over the Riverina and we were already doing events and kept getting asked if we would have weddings. We couldn’t resist as we love a big shindig!

Tell us about the facilities your venue offers?

Our country wedding venue really has the WOW factor and there is nothing like it in our region. If you are looking for a modern contemporary venue in a rural location, then we are the property for you.

At your request, the surrounding landscape can include a beautiful space ideal for wedding ceremonies. Our elevated deck and surrounds can be turned into a perfect place for your guests to enjoy canapés and pre-dinner drinks. Our contemporary rural backdrop has the most spectacular locations for your wedding shots.

There are no limits – tailor the size of your marquee to suit the style of your wedding and the number of guests. Whether a sit-down event for 150 or a stand up cocktail wedding for 200, we have the space and the view and we’re only limited by your imagination.

What do you think is the selling point for most couples?

Definitely our views, spectacular rural location and contemporary modern venue.

Do you offer onsite accommodation? Alternatively, are there places to stay nearby?

There are plenty of fabulous hotels, Airbnb’s and luxury boutique hotels in Wagga Wagga for your guests to enjoy their stay.

What’s your favourite thing you’ve seen a couple do at your venue?

I can’t go past the first dance from the newly married bride and groom. The look in their eyes is always magic.

And what do you think would be epic at your property? Any ideas you’d love to see a couple carry out?

A bride could helicopter into our property – now that would make an entrance.

Describe the kind of couples your venue attracts?

A modern couple that like something to be a little different than the norm… they want to add some unique touches to make the venue feel like theirs, and they appreciate the design of our building, landscaping and surrounds and the unique site that we are situated on.

Any new additions on the horizon?

Yes, perhaps some luxury modern villas and sculptures throughout our grounds.
