If you’ve ever felt like you’re living in the wrong era, this Hunter Valley wedding venue known as Mansfield House might just be your cup of English Breakfast. Built in 1887, it’s a fancy, Gatsby-esque space with multiple rooms and a stunning garden (which by the way, is pet-friendly). As an added bonus, it’s all-inclusive which means rather than unpacking furniture and counting cutlery you can be kicking back and enjoying the finer things in life.
We asked the team to share some more info about the property so you can get better acquainted.
Hey team. Can you tell us a bit about Mansfield House?
Mansfield House was built in 1887 by the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney. No expense was spared by the company in building their finest regional head bank. Its grandeur and lavish design were built to impress.
Now restored to its original and stunning condition, opulent and exquisite features create a perfect space for weddings. Mansfield has many areas such as the Victorian Garden, The Grand Chamber, The Manager’s Office and many more which create a connected experience for our guests.
The building and venue are suited perfectly for weddings. The significance and special nature of a wedding day ties perfectly to the building’s character and essence.
Power, bar area, wet weather cover, water, tables and seating, clean up included, kitchen, pet-friendly (garden area), wheelchair access, bathroom, bridal change room and parking.
The grandeur and style of the venue. It has timeless features and spaces making it a very unique venue. Its appeal is more towards a lavish and opulent wedding with all the inclusions.
No, but there is accommodation close by, being that it is located in the centre of Maitland.
Really using the spaces the way they want to or have imagined.
A themed wedding of some description would be fairly epic. Also if there was a no limit budget for them to do something amazing for their guests in all of the spaces.
Often couples who are looking for an exquisite building or spaces that really make their guests say “WOW! I get to spend time in this space”.
Any new venue developments or plans on the horizon?
We will be looking to provide accommodation in the future.
