Welcome! I’m Kirsten. I live in Orange, NSW and I am oh so excited to be your wedding photographer. I live in Orange NSW and work across the Blue Mountains, Bathurst, Mudgee, Dubbo, the Hunter Valley and beyond. I’m a huge traveller and always up for an adventure if you are getting married beyond the central west!
I learnt how to use my Canon SLR film camera while I worked as a tour leader in Africa, learning about aperture and shutter speed photographing elephants and lions. I’ve travelled the world with my cameras since then (even lugging a gigantic 4×5 large format film camera round Cuba) and have been lucky enough to live and work in every continent except Antarctica (so far!). I always thought I’d become a photojournalist overseas or work in the NGO sector, but then I fell in love and realised that I wanted to document the most beautiful things in life, not the most heartbreaking. And that’s how I became a wedding photographer and why you are reading this!
My photography is definitely an extension of me. My style is candid, relaxed and very natural. I love being outside and photographing outdoors in beautiful places. I use natural light whenever possible. I won’t make you do awkward poses for hours on end. I’ll definitely give you some direction on where to stand and what to do, but it’s all about you being you – all loved up, having a good time and looking like total babes on one of the most important days of your life!

- Three words that describe you? Chilled out, fun and adventurous!
- Best wedding-related tip? Do things the way you want to. Weddings have changed ALOT in the past 5 years let alone 35 years, and tradition can be anything you want it to be. If something is really important to you - wearing a non-white dress or a pantsuit? Walking down the aisle by yourself? A first look? Mismatched bridal party outfits? A new family tradition? Champagne during the ceremony? Do it! It's your day and the way you want to celebrate you guys is just as important as the vows!
- Fav thing about your job? Documenting one of the most memorable days of a couples life and creating images that will become part of their family history. Feels so darn good!
