Tell us a bit about your business…

Stretched Events is a Victorian based creative event hire company. We specialise in the hire and sales of Stretch Tents, lighting, sound, furniture, and custom-built props and structures (bars, archways, stages etc.)

We aspire to ensure our client’s visions are met and exceeded. We love collaborating and bringing together ideas from all avenues to create an event that is truly personal and memorable. It’s our goal to give our clients a stress-free service that you feel both a part of, and impressed by.

What is the main advantage for couples who work with you?

We offer a creative and friendly service and can supply a whole package with the opportunity to really personalise your event.

Can you share some of the things that go on behind the scenes?

A hell of a lot of hard work, sweat, and smiles. We spend much of our time creating ways to make our couples’ wedding day dream come true – from engineering new ways to anchor our tents, to building custom props, bars and structures. There is always a project underway in our shed.

Do you think there are any preconceptions about the wedding industry?

That it has to cost and arm and leg to achieve a beautiful event.

What are some of the main questions couples ask you? And what are the answers?

Can you describe what sets your business apart?

1. Our stretch tents. We really do believe they are a beautiful product and can really set an event apart. Compared to some of our competitors in our industry, we are also able to supply a large range of hire equipment.

2. Another thing that sets us apart is our ability to design, create, and build anything. If you can dream it up, we can execute it for you. We have backgrounds in carpentry, building and design and don’t feel intimidated by any project.

What’s your next predicted wedding trend?

It is hard to say. I think the next trend will be weddings with a more intimate and whimsical feel. The ‘less-conventional’ wedding perhaps…
