Can you tell us a bit about what makes your offering unique?

Stanley Park has a unique historic home and gigantic fig tree right on the water, as well as a large rustic barn.

What are some of the perks of getting married at your venue that couples might not realise?

You can BYO beverages and you can have all-day access to set up prior to the wedding day. Plus, we’re pet-friendly too so furry friends can attend the ceremony and outdoor weddings are permitted!

How did you get involved with weddings? What was the motivation?

We helped a friend get married at Stanley Park and after that everyone wanted to get married there. It was so much fun that I gave up my career in IT to promote and manage weddings at Stanley Park.

Tell us about the facilities your venue offers?

We offer tables and chairs for your ceremony and reception, as well as Edison and fairy lights both inside and outside. Bathrooms and a large cool are also onsite, as well as a large carpark for your guests close to the reception barn. Inside the reception barn, you’ll find a large catering area, as well as an indoor bar. There’s also a combustion fireplace inside too!

Food trucks are permitted, pets are certainly allowed and yes, you can BYO beverages! Closing time is midnight, and the barn can be set up the day before the wedding. When it comes to accommodation, there is plenty within 5 minutes drive.

What’s your favourite thing that you’ve seen a couple do at your venue?

Instead of a wedding cake, one couple had a piñata!
